Quarry Track-43km

Sunday-6.20am:
3 laps of Quarry Track- Quarry Rd-Stewart Ave return. Added another 4.5km return trip to the hollowed tree just before the first descent giving me 43km in 4.04.
Felt strong all morning but was feeling it on the final leg of the last lap. Saw Striders Grahame Murphy and CR Kiwi John out there briefly and a few Mtbers but for the most part had the trail to myself. Great long run with the some good hill training.

Splits:

35:40
37:23
Total Lap 1=1:13:04

35:58
36:58
Total Lap 2=1:12:56

35:39
37:54
Total Lap 3=1:13:33

4.45km-25:06

43km-4.04 (2150mtr ascent/descent)

Total for week=133km

HI Spud,

I know thew location of many of your runs but actually having run that one you must be pleased with your pace and even splits.

Great stuff.

That's a great run Spud. Great effort to keep the splits so consistent. You might even win Western States the way you are training.
