Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Been taking it very gingerly this week with some deep blisters on both feet still quite sore.
Hobbled around for a few days and then decided I needed to get outside.
Walked for a couple of kms yesterday, and today I managed a 40 minute run around Lane Cove. Felt good to be moving at a pace resembling a run after walking the last 55kms of C2K.
Swelling on the knee has subsided and my right ankle is recovering from a case of gait compensation overuse injury (as a result of the blisters).

Silly sport this....

Here's some pics of the good the bad and the ugly of ultra-running the last is my post exertion hypotension episode taking by "biscuit boy" Tim on the trip back down to Jindabyne.
It's not all glamorous this ultra running. :)

Congratulations on getting through the run in one piece. Awesome achievement mate. The pics show just how bad the drought is even in the area that gets a fair bit of rain.
