BRW Corporate Triathlon

Results in: Cochlear placed 4th from 1108 teams and our team 22nd. We also took out 1st, 2nd and 3rd in our Category. Giddyup!

A fun morning in the harbour city. A short and very sharp sprint triathlon where the HR rises very quickly and stays there. Had an ordinary swim (got punched and kicked) so was glad to exit the short 400m swim. Bike on the other hand was great, fanged around the Domain for 2 laps, even managed to max out at 58km/hr on the downhill to Mrs Macquarie's Chair. Run was gluggy to begin with , I felt the weeks kms in the legs but came good once I hit the turnaround and passed quite few runners on the way past the Art Gallery down to the finish. Didn't wear a watch but from others I came in around 33 minutes, happy with that. Warm down run with Virtual into the city and a few laps of Hyde park. All up 14kms of running including warm up and race kms.

100kms for the week with a bit of speed work in there. Back to high mileage next week.
