M2 Ride

Rode M2 with MPHaz this morning, perfect weather slight westerly blowing as usual.
We managed to go a bit faster than last week and still have a yap along the way.
Great ride, with a top speed of 60.3km/hr (albeit) not for very long ;-)
We averaged ~34km/hr. Went for a short run straight off the bike just to get the blood flowing again.
Plan for the weekend is Striders STaR on Sunday and maybe if I can squeeze it in, a short tempo run tomorrow. Lots happening with Xmas coming. It's my daughters' end of year dance/show on Sunday which means I can't front up for the planned 6 foot training run. But alas I wouldn't miss my girls' show for the world. Looking forward to it. Engagement party tomorrow too. It's all happening...
