Hosting and Training

Wednesday: On annual leave entertaining my little sis and her partner, so a shorter midweeker with a run in the local burbs. 13km in 4:50/km pace. Ran to Schofields and returned via Marsden Park. Rained the whole time, I was totally saturated but loved every minute of it.

Thursday: A late night at the Mean Fiddler so stayed in bed this morning. Hadn't been to the Fiddler for a long time, and was way impressed with the latest round of renovations. Awesome pub and now with a highly rated restaurant. Ducked out after lunch for a 36km bike ride from Riverstone to Richmond return, ave speed 33.8km/hr. Nice ride on the way out with a tail wind but as soon as I turned for the return journey it was a whole lot tougher. Went hard and gave the legs a good smashing.
