Speedwork-15km

6am-Back to Rotary Track for some more pain. Cool with a humidity level of 600%.
2.5km warm up and then 800s. Wanted to stay under 4min/km pace so 3:20s got:

3:13
3:11
3:07
3:05

Better than last week and I didn't feel like I was working as hard, which is a good sign. A few sprinters along with their coach arrived so I moved to the outside lane and did a fartlek session. Sprinted the straights and floated the bends, loved this session. Ran 6km like this and was suitably knackered afterwards.
2.5km warm down back up Mowbray Rd hill (great way to warm down after a speed session-not)

Good mornings training... might even grow to like speedwork at this rate!!

Very good. A faster Spud is all we need for another Six Foot PB this year.

Not bad! How could you fail to like speedwork on such a beautiful track in that location :)
