GNW and LCNP-20km
Well Autumn finally arrived today with a lovely cool morning and showers to boot.
Same run as last week minus the return trip from Scribbly to the gates at Ryde Rd.
First half of run was dry as we picked our way through Hunters Hill and East Ryde but then the heavens opened and we got drenched, I love the rain!
Felt so invigorating to run in the soft rain, we ended up doing a sharpish 4km from Plassey Rd thru the park and down to the weir in sub 4min pace. This was after 12km into the run so a nice sprinkling of speedwork. Actually pulled out a 3:36 kilometer which (for me) is moving. Lots of puddle hopping through the bush and along the river too, great stuff!
Finished with 4:51/km pace which was the fastest we've managed on this course for a while.
Downloaded the latest training centre for the Forerunner, a big improvement!
