January Recap
Seems to be the go with blogs these days, so here goes.
A good month considering a taper for Bogong to Hotham and recovery afterwards.
Total distance for the month was 350km with some good runs including the Fatass Black Stump, B2H, Six Foot Training Run and Laps of Quarry Track, backed up with some solid midweek long runs of 20-25km. Total elevation gain was a record 5230m, loss was 5141m, so plenty of hills. Also managed to get on the bike quite regularly for spin sessions and mixed in a bit of swimming too. I have struggled with a head cold the last week and still have it, lots of phlegm etc.. hopefully it will clear itself by the end of the week. Pleased with the month, averaging just over 80kms a week which along with the cycling and swimming is adequate for 6 FT.
