A different route

We headed off this morning on our midweek long run following Tony who was to revisit some old trails he ran years ago. A nice change to mix it up a bit, new trails and old ones . Basically we ran along the singletrack at the river around Blackman Park to Burns Bay Rd, crossed and then climbed the hill to Riverview College. A nice trail along the foreshore of the college here, I didn't know existed and then out and along Tambourine Bay. Through the bush and out onto River Rd-Longueville and Lane Cove.
After crossing Epping Rd we hit the bush again at Ferndale Park before popping out on Chatswood Golf course where we spotted CR Barney. Fullers Bridge and then into LCNP, exiting at Scribblys and returning to work via East Ryde and back along the river trail.
All up 20.6km of fun trails and yet again lots of hills.

It was great to catch up when I was down there Spud. I really enjoyed chatting at that Star run ... it took my mind off all those awful hills :-)

See ya again soon.
